James “Jamie” Bornstein was born and raised in southern New Hampshire and received his B.A. at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York in 2000. He later earned his MBA at Boston University and also spent a year studying at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem. He has worked in the Jewish non-profit sector for the entirety of his career.
Jamie lives in Sharon, Massachusetts with his wife, three children and Muchacha, a 47 pound Wheaten Terrier/Poodle mix (otherwise known as a “Whoodle”) who was supposed to be 25 to 30 pounds, but is well loved despite the bait and switch. There are also four chickens on the premises, but Jamie is rather disinterested in them.
The picture above shows Jamie speaking publicly, something he rarely does, but very much enjoys, and more importantly thinks might add a little gravitas to this site. The jury is still out on that though.
